A Note on Commitment & Studio Expectations

As we begin a new semester at Mitkof Dance Troupe, we want to share the expectations that help create a positive and supportive learning environment for all dancers.

Dancers are expected to arrive on time, come prepared in proper dress code, and bring a focused, respectful mindset to every class. This includes listening, following directions, applying corrections, and putting forth consistent effort—regardless of class style.

Our program values commitment, growth, and mutual respect. Dance class is a place to work hard, try your best, and support one another. We appreciate our families’ partnership in helping dancers show up ready to learn and contribute positively to our studio community.

Fall Semester Info and Dates

  • ​​Fall Semester begins September 14th 

  • Registration: For students enrolled in the Spring 26 semester, registration will open Friday, August 14th at 6:00pm. It will open to the public on Sunday, August 16th at 6:00pm.

  • Recital will be December 11th & 12th, auditorium rehearsals December 7th - 11th are mandatory

  • No regular classes the week of Thanksgiving (November 23rd - 28th) Instructors may use this week for makeup classes if needed

  • Must drop classes by October 4th to receive a refund for the remainder of the semester. Classes attended before dropping will not be refunded.

  • Dancers may not miss more than 3 classes in order to be guaranteed to perform in the recital. Please read more about absences and review our registration agreement here

  • Pre-Pointe dancers need two year (4 consecutive semesters) of ballet immediately prior to joining 

    • For more info about pre-pointe eligibility click here​

    • Pre-Pointe is not guaranteed a recital piece

    • Pre-Pointe and Pointe dancers must also take ballet

  • Must be 4 years old by September 1st, 2026 to register for pre-k classes

  • All 2nd - 12th grade classes are skill based. Upon entering 2nd grade, students will be recommended for either jazz, ballet, or both. Spring semester students will received an email with their placements mid July. Pre-K, Kinder, and 1st grade classes remain grade based. If you are new to the program please email us at mitkofdancetroupe@gmail.com so we can connect and find the best place for your dancer to start!

  • Tuition is as follows (does not include costumes, on average these range from $40-$80 per class)

    • $145 for 45 minute classes ​

    • $170 for 60 minute classes 

    • $195 for 90 minute classes

  • A $10 registration fee (one per family) will be automatically added at checkout (Non-Refundable)

  • Financial Scholarships are available here
