Olivia Reid - Ballet Instructor & Executive Director
Olivia has been teaching at MDT since 2019. Olivia was born and raised here in Petersburg and has been dancing since she was eight years old with the Steppin' Out Dance Studio before it became Mitkof Dance Troupe. She trained, traveled, and competed along side Caroline for many years gaining experience in numerous dance styles. After a few years away at college she realized she wanted to move back to her hometown and raise a family. She decided to jump on board with MDT and be part of the program that shaped her and gave her a lifelong love of dance and the arts. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two young boys, cooking, and of course dancing with friends! Kelsey Lambe - Jazz and HS Performance Dance Team
Kelsey began dancing as a young girl. She competed with her high school dance team, competing in jazz, lyrical and hip hop. After high school, she danced for Southern Oregon University Dance team, as well as dancing for a competitive dance group in Ashland, Oregon and then a hip hop company in Eugene, Oregon. After moving to Petersburg in 2016, she knew she wanted to bring dancing back into her life and joined the MDT team. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Hayden and Harper. She also loves walking and dancing with her friends! Alice Williams - Kinders & Tots
Alice grew up here in Petersburg, is a former Steppin’ Out dance student, a parent of two MDT dancers, has coached Girls on the Run, girls’ softball, T-Ball and little league baseball. She has a passion for dance and loves working with children. Alice has served as an elementary school classroom volunteer and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Alaska Southeast. |
Caroline Crain - Ballet, Pre-pointe, Pointe
Caroline has been teaching since 2013 to students ranging from pre-school through high school. Caroline’s love of dance started right here in Petersburg, as a young girl with the Steppin Out Dance Studio. She trained, traveled, and competed with the troupe for ten years gaining experience in several dance styles including pointe, lyrical, hip-hop, and tap. Caroline enjoyed exploring other creative outlets when she became a licensed cosmetologist, but eventually found her way back to her hometown to raise a family and fulfill a passion of working and growing with the youth of her community. Alice Wegener - Jazz and Ballet
Alice Wegener was born and raised in Petersburg and has always had a passion for movement. From age 8 to 18, Alice danced with MDT— getting experience in ballet, tap, and jazz. In 2021, Alice graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Family, Community, and Human Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. In her short time at the University of Utah, Alice was a member of the Dance Club where she gained exposure to hip-hop and modern styles. Since returning to Petersburg, Alice has been working at Petersburg Medical Center as the Activities Coordinator. When not busy for work, Alice enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. |
