We want to remind families that it’s very common (and incredibly valuable!) for dancers to stay in the same level for one or even two years. Building strong technique takes time, and repetition is key to developing confidence, strength, and performance quality. Staying in the same level allows dancers to:
✔️ Strengthen foundational skills
✔️ Build muscle memory and body awareness
✔️ Gain confidence in a familiar setting
✔️ Be fully prepared to thrive when they do move up
We know it can be tempting to rush ahead — but true growth often comes from slowing down and doing the work at each stage. 💪✨
➡️ If you’re interested in adding a new class that you didn’t take last year — or if you didn’t receive a placement email — please reach out to us. We’re happy to help and want to make sure everyone is set up for success this season!
As always, thank you for trusting us with your dancer’s journey. We’re so proud of each and every one of them!
With gratitude,
MDT Instructors
